I hope everyone had a restful Fall Break! We are ready to begin a new quarter and I wanted to remind parents and students of a few things.
Class Dojo counts toward behavior and classroom management "steps" and referrals.
We will have a Dojo party at the end of the nine weeks for students who remain above 90% positive in Class Dojo. This includes classroom behavior, hallway/restroom behavior, homework, turning in assignments in a timely manner, etc. Please encourage your student to do his/her best in class!
A newsletter will go home on Monday on most weeks. If you do not receive a newsletter, please let us know, and we will be sure you get one.
Grades start over on October 17!
We will begin reading a new book! Pre-AP class will be reading Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell, and Standard classes will be reading The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary. These books will have vocabulary and comprehension quizzes that will be counted as grades. Please be sure students are keeping up with the reading and the Vocabulary.
