Thank you all for coming out to our Open House last night.  It was great being able to meet all of you.  I look forward to a great year here at Holtville Middle School!  Please feel free to look around at the website, and get used to the tabs and location of items that you will be using throughout the school year.  Our first book is Frindle by Andrew Clements.  We will be covering this book the first two weeks of school and will be taking quizzes on each section, including vocabulary from each section.

Some things to remember:

Wordly Wise Workbooks and USA Studies Weekly newspapers will be used by all 5th graders.  The cost is $15.00

Our First Field trip is September 23 to ASF to see Charlotte's Web.  The cost is $17.00.  Forms and money are due by August 26.

Tennis Shoes are required for PE.

NO STUDENT HANDBOOKS WILL BE ISSUED.  Please go to www.elmoreco.com to download and print out the student handbook.

Please come to school prepared each day with all supplies!!
